This is the ninth generation of ICEBUG most extreme trail shoe. It was designed for off-trail and orienteering competitions and has been used by world champions for over 15 years.

Spirit has been a favorite for many years and remains the top choice for orienteers and off-trail runners, whether world champions or amateurs. The key to Spirit’s success lies in the combination of low weight, flexibility, and traction without compromising durability. The very durable upper fabric is called Perspair®, a woven fabric made with a Jaquard technique that is designed to reduce seams. It combines several yarns, such as a super strong aramid fiber. The upper is very smooth and has a very low wet weight thanks to the minimal water pickup.  The heel section is specially designed to relieve pressure on the Achilles tendon. Spirit features a low-profile sole with a 4mm drop for maximum ground control and a flexible midsole that allows the foot to move naturally. The last was updated a few seasons ago and offers a slightly roomier toe box. The outsole provides outstanding traction with an innovative tread pattern inspired by tractor tires and 14 fixed OLX studs made of carbide steel.
